How long does it take to obtain a permit?
The time it takes to get a permit approved depends on the jurisdiction where the work will be performed.
How much do permits cost?
Typically permits can be between $200-$2500. There are many factors that will cause an inflation of the price of a permit. These factors may include, but are not limited to: Type of permit, the jurisdiction that will be issuing the permit, and the size of the project. It is advised to speak with your project manager about costs throughout the duration of the project.
Why has my permit been put on hold?
The most common reason that your permit may be put on hold is for reasons set by the jurisdiction. For example, not having a franchise agreement with a specific jurisdiction or road moratorium may cause a delay in obtaining a permit. It is important to provide a clear scope so our permitting and engineering team can effectively plan for and avoid any possible delays that may come.

In order to perform construction, typically the jurisdiction that the project lies within requires some sort of approved permit that shows that the work being performed is adhering to their regulations/specifications.
